Sometimes when I'm struggling getting into any of the masterpieces of literature I want/need/hope to read, I pick up a book like this - easy entertainment that I can blow through quickly. More and more lately these easy entertainment books have taken on the same formula - female narrator with memory difficulties tries to figure out if a crime has been committed (see also The Girl on the Train and Elizabeth is Missing).
