What Members Thought
Half of these short stories are magical realist stories.
The other half of the stories involve knife fights.
Many of the stories reference 1001 Nights.
Many of them start off by saying something like, "My name is X and I found this story in the pages of an old copy of Y (which is most likely 1001 Nights) and I am not sure if the story is true."
I prefer the magical realism tales, but all are good. If the collection has a negative, it is that it makes it obvious that Borges (genius though he was) had ...more
