I am going to take an action here and rate this book 2 stars and not worry about the results of doing so.
It's surely a good book, and I thought Edgerton's commentary that followed the text was remarkably useful and interesting. This was a reread after many years, though in a different translation, and I discovered that there was very much I had forgotten. Not narratively, of course, as this hardly has a narrative at all. This was the worst book to choose to read in the bathtub. I was confused as to why it switched from verse to prose throughout.
