What Members Thought
Short satire - a government functionary loses his nose, which goes on some adventures before being recaptured and returned to his face. It sounds silly, and to be fair it often is, but the core concept is surrounded by some sharp observations on bureaucracy and public service, hypocrisy, and self promotion.
