Five stars. Six stars. A hundred stars. Wow. Probably one of the most beautiful books I've ever read. Mary-Louise Parker is a poet, an artist, her imagery molded like clay in Rodin's hands. This book isn't a memoir in the ordinary sense of the word, and her prose is not truly prose, but paragraphed poetry.
