A delightfully whimisical tale read to me via audiobook voiced by the ever talented Mr. Gaiman himself. I loved this story of Richard Mayhew, an ordinary man living in London doing ordinary things until one day he comes across an injured young lady and when he helps her, finds himself in the middle of a fantastical tale of London Below and all the folks who have fallen between the cracks.

Spoiler! I loved this book. It took forever to read because I am so busy and because it was rather intense at times. There are some rather brutal scenes - do NOT read while eating! And I cried twice - once when a favorite character was killed rather graphically, and at the end. I can't believe he wrote this book back in the '90's and I just read it. Thanks for the suggestion Emily!
