What Members Thought
The book is exactly what you would expect of a Victorian mystery novel from a contemporary of Dickens. The plot is solid, a few twists and turns and an appropriate ending. There are two things that kept it from being four stars for me, however.

Love a good classic mystery!
It took me over 100 pages to get into this book. But by the end this sums it up for me... I loved this book. A suspensful, intriguing read. Highly recommend!!
