What Members Thought
It took me 2 months (well, 12 years and three tries) to finish it, but it's done. I will say this: it was worth the effort. I thoroughly enjoyed my time in Tolstoy's Russia, even though occasionally the narrative veered and lagged and was rather pedantic w/r/t "current" politics. When this book is on, though, it is ON, and impossible to put down, incredibly witty, insightful, beautiful.
