What Members Thought

How sad is it that a book written around the 60s could still be so very relevant in this day and age? As I read it, I felt that I could relate to it very much. It echoed the sentiments of the past, present, and unfortunately, maybe even the future.
I felt a bit of hopelessness, admittedly. The times may have changed, but man, sadly, is still the same. Still competing, arguing and making wars and killing innocent people and children. And for what?
Do we even take the warnings of the past seriously?
