As the third book of a trilogy within a series, I really enjoyed it. The pace was fast, the romance was hot and the mystery resolved in a way that I wasn't expecting, but found totally believable.
Eileen has been in prison for 30 years for a murder she didn't commit. The last in a trilogy, and this one wraps up most of the mystery and questions left over from Books 1 & 2.
It seemed to me that there were a couple/few abrupt scene changes in this one, which made me go back a page to see whether I missed something or had pages stuck together. Overall, though, I was glad to get the boss's story: I've been wondering what made Lucy so controlling and insulated from her team, even though she worked 24/7.
Jack was a bit more of a revelation in this book, as well. His ...more
