This is the final book in the trilogy within this series. With the identities of all three daughters of Eileen Stafford uncovered, former Bullet Catcher Jack Culver is focused on discovering the identity of their father and the real murderer of Wanda Sloan. As the third book of a trilogy within a series, I really enjoyed it. The pace was fast, the romance was hot and the mystery resolved in a way that I wasn't expecting, but found totally believable.

Eileen has been in prison for 30 years for a murder she didn't commit. Jack Culver has been her "Angel" and has taken it upon himself to find her triplet daughters who were given up for black market adoption and to find the real killer. The last in a trilogy, and this one wraps up most of the mystery and questions left over from Books 1 & 2.

It seemed to me that there were a couple/few abrupt scene changes in this one, which made me go back a page to see whether I missed something or had pages stuck together. Overall, though, I was glad to get the boss's story: I've been wondering what made Lucy so controlling and insulated from her team, even though she worked 24/7.

Jack was a bit more of a revelation in this book, as well. His
