I really enjoyed it.

I've a good time reading all about "the cats" and the hunting stuff.

I think it's a little bit different from her previous works (Rizzoli & Isles series). But it works and I highly recommend it.

Six years ago a safari group goes missing. A few of their remains are found, but some of them are not. There is one survivor. Now Rizzoli and Isles have a case that may be linked to the safari group tragedy.

Another great case in the Rizzoli and Isles series. The characters continue to be interesting and the mystery baffling. I almost thought I had this one figured out, but I was only half right. Loved this book. It was the Rizzoli and Isles from the first few books, not the one from the television series. This story has Jane travelling from Boston to Botswana to crack the case of a Big Game Hunter and famous taxidermist who ends up hung and gutted in his own garage. Haunting, with a well written direct language and very exiting. Die Again has everything a good thriller should have.

A safari tour which was meant to be a great adventure, turns into a living and deadly nightmare for most of its participants. In Boston gets an embalmer murdered and a keeper at the Boston zoo killed by a wild animal. All those incidents seem to have nothing in common. But Maura Isles things otherwise although no one believes her, not even her friend Jane Rizzol Style and Language

But Maura Isles things otherwise although no one believes her, not even her friend Jane Rizzoli. Step by step they get a bizarre puzzle together – a puzzle that seems to have his roots in the killings of a safari group in Botswana that lays six years back.

The thriller has two lines of action: one through the point of view from Millie in the past (she is on that safari tour in Botswana), the other plays today in Boston and brings the story to the reader by the figural narrative situation through Jane and Maura. In the end they both come together and the psychological effect becomes even more fascinating.

Characters
It is not easy to be Maura Isles these days. But despite her lonely position within the team of the Boston police, she has also still to struggle with her forbidden relationship that ended some time ago. Her work means everything to her and when she gets the feeling, that the murder of the embalmer is somehow connected with two other murder cases, she does everything to convince her friend Jane to think the same way and to see, what she sees.

Tess Gerritsen lets her two women cooperate like never before. Jane is as ironic and sarcastic as ever, has her very own way to see things through and Maura is as confident and exited about her work as always. When she can´t make Jane believe, what she believes, she finds a way to let the Boston police see what´s seems to be the only possible way in their different cases. And that is exactly what makes Die Again so special.

Result
In my opinion the best thriller Tess Gerritsen has ever written. Dr Isles and Detective Rizzoli are in one´s best form. Die Again is simply said fantastic! Well written, a great plot and Dr Isles and Detective Rizzoli are in one´s best form. You have to read this!
