When people told me this series is better than the Mortal Instruments, I was skeptical... cause the Mortal Instruments sucks.. I've never been as bored by a book or as annoyed by characters before. So, I assumed the worst of this series as well, you know, cause it's set in the same world and written by the same author.
I found myself actually caring about Tessa, Holy S**t I actually like a character written/created by Cassandra Clare?! I thought I'd never see the day lol ...more

Now I've had the time to process everything. It took me a while to get through this book. Not because I didn't like it. More because I was reading it up to a period where I suddenly didn't have much time to read at all, and the kinda forgot about it.

This was a really engrossing read. I listened to it on audible.com and it was fantastically done. I found I was looking for more things to do to listen longer.
