I read and enjoyed the first Morgan Dane book and this one is every bit as good. In fact, this is definitely one of the better romantic-suspense books I've read in a long time. I was hoping that widowed Morgan would realize that Lance Kruger would be everything she needed as a partner. I'm not sure how I missed this one. Each book works as a standalone, but the character development continues through each book in the series. I'm enjoying these characters and look forward to each new book as it releases.
