It’s been 23 years since Private Investigator Lance Kruger’s father, Victor, inexplicably disappeared. Rumors swirled over the years about what may have happened, from running away to escape his issues at home to things more ominous. It’s been a mystery that’s troubled Lance throughout his life as he was only a boy when his father left. Now, his car was located at the bottom of nearby Grey Lake with remains in the trunk. The Morgan Dane Series is one of those rare breeds that delivers a fantastic mystery plot while growing a sweet romantic relationship. Sorry, you romance fans, this one is strictly PG, but the mystery more than makes up for the missing hot romance.

I would suggest that the reader start at the beginning of this series as there is a lot of character development and information abo ...more

I found this series (Morgan Lane) via my buddy read. (https://www.goodreads.com/topic/group... )What I like most about this series (outside of the procedural) is the gradual development of the characters, their relationships, and their family environments. Bones Don't Lie reveals a lot about Lance's past and the mystery of his father's disappearance. I guessed the "bad guy" early but that didn't take away for the story or the tension. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series. ...more
