I have thoroughly enjoyed this series. It has humor, romance and a strong loving family. I just loved most of the books, but not this one. This one was downright tedious and rather boring, except for the last 100 pages or so. Gregory, the last unmarried sibling is a twit and Lucy is just plain boring. I had a lot of trouble staying and not DNFing the thing. Lucky for me the ending made it worth finishing.

Synopsis
Gregory Bridgerton has fallen in love... only the lady in question won't give him the time of day. Her friend, Lucy Abernathy, offers to help but falls for Gregory herself. Gregory ultimately realizes that Lucy is the one for him but she is unfortunately engaged to someone else. Will things ultimately work out for everyone involved?

The 8th and last installment of the Bridgerton books written by Julia Quinn was a wonderful story of Gregory who always knew true love existed. A romantic at heart he has watched all 7 of his siblings fall in love and marry knowing that he too would one day fall in love. And he did. I Liked Gregory and Lucy right from the beginning. I did not really like how Quinn added "subtitles" to every chapter ie: chapter 12 - were our Hero and heroine have a strange discussion... this just took away from the book I think.. I like not knowing when something good is gonna happen. Overall though the book was still good. And I am glad there are some epilogue books to read as I am going to miss the Bridgertons! ...more
