I devoured this book. It is truly one of the best Allison Brennan has written and she has written some awesome books. As this is the last Max Revere book, at least for the foreseeable future, it was a tall order for Brennan to tie up the loose ends of Max's life and she did it masterfully. Sometimes I have expectations about how I want a story to go, especially with a series. My expectations were not only met, but they were also exceeded.
