Evan Smoke is the Nowhere Man. He helps the helpless and aids desperate people in their hour of need. Now Max Merriweather is asking for his help. Max's cousin was recently murdered. Before he died, Grant gave Max a package. He told him to give the package to a certain reporter if anything happened to him. The Orphan X series is full on, adventure, fighting, killing and gripping series. Evan Smoak was living in foster care when he was plucked out at the age of twelve. From that time on, he was groomed and trained to become a government assassin, called Orphan X. When the program ends, the orphans were all killed, at least most of them. Omg, the ending! I cannot wait for the next book. This is now definitely one of my favorites series and I might even like Evan Smoak more than Jack Reacher. This book was a thriller fest and gave no chance for the reader or Evan to relax, even at the end. I do not think Evan has ever been physically abused to the extent he was in this one. The poor guy but this was a lot of fun!.
