3.5 stars...closer to 4 stars. 3.8 maybe? I'm obviously a bit conflicted. Armentrout's books are always a lot of fun & pretty addicting. I had issues with some things, though.

4.25 stars this was addictive! Team Roth for me! I'd never read about gargoyles before so this was kind of a fun way to get into them. The book was full of action and the romance melted your heart. There where surprises at every turn. I'm excited to read the next book in the series. Only reason I rated a 4 was because it was a little hard to understand at first but once you got into it it was a lot of fun. Did I mention team Roth? This was my firs Jennifer L. Armentrout novel.

My first Jennifer L Armentrout book. And it won't be my last!! Love her writing style. The first lines of this book had me.
"There was a demon in McDonald's. And it had a powerful hunger for Big Macs."
Really loved those lines! Excellent read!! I'm having a hard time picking which guy I liked more. Roth or Zayne... To me there were both amazing characters. I know. I won't choose one. I choose both.
Can't wait to get my hands on Stone Cold Touch ...more

First of all, I had no clue to what this book was about. I really thought it was a new adult book but I was so wrong. It was mainly about gargoyles, vampires, demons, zombies with a love triangle too. It was definitely action packed which made me want to read more. Certainly will pick up the next book soon.
