EVEN BETTER ON AUDIO.

Todd Hewitt is the last boy in Prentisstown. He is only a month away from becoming a man and he can’t wait. Being the only boy left in town is lonely. Most of the time, men don’t have much to say to boys. The only constant companion he has is his dog, Manchee - a gift that he never wanted in the first place. He would’ve much preferred to have a hunting knife.

Prentisstown is a settlement in New World. The people have been there for about twenty years. Upon arriving on New Wor

Best book in the Chaos Walking trilogy the characters are very well written, the unique dialogue and grammar takes some getting use to but it works for the world Patrick Ness created. Manshee the dog (I probably spelled his name wrong) is my favorite character. This book is full of humor, suspense, adorable friendships, its heartwarming and heartwrentching. Its easy to get attached to Todd & Viola this book is definitely worth the read.

The writing was good and easy to follow, the story is very interesting and the plot twist is pretty go

4 1/2 Stars. Recommend Audio Book for this book. It's very fast paced and the audio book is amazing. Leaves you on a cliffhanging wanting you to grab the next book immediately. Dropped down 1/2 star because of the spelling and cursing which made it a bit hard to get used to. ...more

4.80 stars this book was one of the strangest stories I've read in a long time. However, it was also really well written. So many cliffhangers at the end of each section. I for sure will be continuing on with this trilogy. ...more
