I genuinely enjoyed majority of the stories but to be quite honest this was a little bit of a letdown. For a book about villains it’s not too villainous. And though I LOVE re-tellings it was a bit too much at times even for me (thumbs up for every ‘unique’ story).
In general, I think all of the authors did a good job – they all write well and I believe it’s not always easy to follow someone else’s idea. It just didn’t meet the highest of hopes I had when I first heard about this book.

3.5 stars. I really liked some of these and some fell flat. Short story collections are hard for me. I want to love them but find I only really enjoy a couple of the stories.
