Wtf was that ending? :(
I wish I wouldn't have waited so long to read this book. It was a masterpiece! If I went by the cover of this book I don't think I ever would have picked it up. It just didn't look interesting. This is why you can never judge a book by its cover.

In short: brilliant but fucking terrifying. The internal logic of how Gileadean society came to be is alarmingly relevant and that makes for one hell of a discomforting read.
