I thought I did a review, Well, here's the post I did at Yummy Men & Kick Ass Chicks for the Read Along on 21 May 14.

My thoughts on this book:
There is a serial killer targeting all the ley line magic users in the city and Rachel is sure it is Trent, which somewhat blinds her to the real situation.
So Rachel thinks Nick is her boyfriend? No heat there for me. I like Kisten. I still don’t know about Trent but I want to know more.

this book was better then the first, it has the kind of gripping suspense, that won't let you stop reading. Kim Harrison is a wonderful story teller and captures the reader from page one. Her characters come to life on the pages, making you love and hate them with a passion. I can't wait to begin book 3.

I really, really enjoy reading about Rachel's adventures! Ivy, Nick, Trent, Glenn, Jenks... they're all excellent characters as well.

I really liked the first book but this one was dull to me. I could only read a chapter or two at a time. Hoping the other books are better but not making them a priority at this time. I wanted to participate in the read along with the author but now I'm too behind to continue.

Great didn't see the ending coming! It was a page turner.
