What Members Thought

The women of the Women's Murder Club must come together when seemingly random killings begin to show the target is policemen and their families. There were a couple of plot points that seemed a bit cliche, but I really did enjoy this book.

This is the second book in the Women’s Murder Club series and is co-authored by Andrew Gross (someone whose work that I am unfamiliar with).
Four women (a police lieutenant, medical examiner, assistant DA, and a crime reporter) join forces to solve crimes. A serial killer is murdering people from every walk of life. At first, it does not appear that the deaths are related but “the girls” find the connection.

I really enjoyed 1st to Die, the first book in this series. 2nd Chance started out okay, but the interactions of the ladies trying to solve the crime felt fake. It was a good storyline, but this is not my favorite book by James Patterson. I am not sure if I will continue the books in this series or not.
