What Members Thought

Wonderful escape to pre-Revolutionary Eastern America. This is a time period I love to read about, but so few romantic fiction novels are set in this era and place. The story seems to be well researched by the author, a big plus.

3.5 stars. Good story, but I didn't connect with the characters as I normally do with Pamela Clare books. I'm a little surprised because I really enjoy her MacKinnon's Rangers historical romance. I'm going to read the next one in the series to see if I like that one better.
