The Women's Murder Club are hot on the trail of a cat burglar who just escalated to murder and a serial killer praying on women and their very young kids. After the disappointing last book in the series, I actually found this one enjoyable. The epilogue left much to be desired, however. Mindless entertainment, but fun mindless entertainment.

The story was okay; it was what I expected from the series. I like how the two storylines blended together, but I preferred the cat burglar storyline more than the psychopathic killer. I didn't enjoy the way the killer's story was wrapped up. I'm still confused what the full motive was. I think a few important bits were edited out. I also thought the epilogue was pointless. It could have been left out completely.

I liked how the crimes were connected this time around. When you learned who Hello Kitty was and why she was robbing I wanted her to succeed. Her actions at the end and her reward seem well deserved.
The drama at the end with Joe and Lindsey hoping it wouldn't be bad. Also Lindsey's job choice that isn't a choice any more will drive me crazy until I get my hands on the next book. But really it is what she deserves for turning off her phone. ...more
