I really enjoyed this book! It is very entertaining and well-written, and I certainly empathized with all the shit poor Tommy Jacobs had to go through. It turned out a little sad, actually, but then again, I'm sure that's not the end of the story.

The thing is, the book isn't what I expected. I expected more guests stories, more scandals, more shocking behind-the-scenes stuff, but it was more of a personal memoir of his journey working in hospitality; the ups and downs, the system he worked with

What is the book about?

This is an informative and factual book on the hospitality world of hotels. Jacob pursues a job at a very pricy hotel thinking it will be a job to pay the bills. He starts out as a simple valet and over a short period he moves up into the Front Desk and then eventually leading him to a Management position.


What did I think of the book?

Jacob Tomsky is extremely witty and funny with his memoir of his hospitality experience. I thought this was an amazing read. I recommend this
