This was different because the woman is not a member of the Iteam and the newspaper and that kind of investigation were not involved in the story. This was about Marc Hunter's sister, so it was more of a law enforcement story. It's funny the way all the investigative journalists are ending up with military / law enforcement type husbands.

This is one of my favorite series, so I was so happy to finally get around to read this one. I loved it from the start. Nate was such a wounded hero, I hated how he was overly conscious of his looks when he really shouldn't have been. Meghan was wounded in her own way, but it is hard not to love her for what she has been through and made of herself. The two of them were perfect!

Although this story was short, it did a great job in detailing the progression of Megan and Nate's relationship. It didn't feel rushed and I loved the flavor added by Jack and Emily's characters. I was easily reeled in and quickly invested in the outcome of the H/h. They were both survivors -- people who'd come up against some of life's toughest circumstances and not only lived to tell but to triumph. It seemed fitting that they should find ultimate healing and a HEA with each other
