Mickey has had to start taking on foreclosure cases to keep his firm going, but when his first foreclosure client is accused of murder, Mickey finds himself once again practicing criminal law. His client is the easy suspect, and the case seems pretty circumstantial. But will he be able to get her off?

It took me several years to finish that book because the first few chapters didn't really get me hooked, a story about foreclosure was not super fancy nor interesting. However I still love Mickey Haller as a character and the narration was good, so as soon as I switched to audio I was able to finish it in a day.
The cliffhanger was so good, I'm excited to finally get back into my Michael Connelly series and see what happens to the characters next. ...more
