This was a great installment in the Harry Bosch series. I love the procedural aspects which are always incredibly documented. Both crimes Harry was investigating were interesting, the political aspects were never boring and the stakes always high. Both cases were very different therefore there was something for everyone in this volume. I also enjoyed the family time and Harry's relationships with everyone around him, his partner or love interest. Looking forward to the next one! ...more

Another great Harry Bosch novel. Looks like Harry will be around for a few more cases! Heck, we might even see a new line of stories with Harry's daughter Maddie as a Los Angeles police officer.
