I liked the chemistry that Terryn and Brice had, it seemed like right from the start they were ready for each other and knew the encounter would be more than one night.
I found it interesting how Brice's case crashed into what was going on with his real life. I liked Kent and how he was smitten with the coffee girl. I had anxiously been waiting for this book after reading the first one and maybe I just had very high expectations after waiting two years for this installment...I really liked Brice from the first book and I still liked him in this one, but I just did not feel a connection to the characters...the book was well done but the story was just "meh" for me
