Off to the southwest on this adventure... prefer the Minnesota stories.
Every book in this series has a fascinating mystery although I guessed one of the villains this time, and extremely well developed characters and a gorgeous natural setting. There is black / white / gray of the people's choices and treatment of others. There is always a minority who is downtrodden or mistreated.
