This one is a hard one to read, but what makes it amazing is what you like at one point will switch and make you uncomfortable, then change again and have you rooting for the exact thing. Ultimately the book is a love story, a long term one with people who are special and really get each other. It's really hard to talk about what happens in the book without spoiling things. I don't care what anyone else has to say. I may be in the minority but I thought this book was wonderful. It was a masterfully told story of pain, suffering, loss and love. It's told carefully. It's not meant to be vulgar. Wavy's loneliness is palpable throughout her childhood until Kellen comes into her life. Their love starts off in a delicate way. Like that of a parent and child. Nadene  (Totally Addicted to Reading)
Laurie from Barks Books Nonsense recommended All the Ugly and Wonderful Things and based on her recommendations I tried it. I went into this book with my eyes wide open and based on the reviews I knew this would be a controversial story, which is not for everyone. If you are not afraid to have your moral compass tested, you will enjoy this story for what it was meant to be, a story of finding love (although complicated) under unexpected circumstances and with the most unlikely person.
