I've never read a book by Linwood Barclay before. No idea why it's taken me this long, but hey, better late than never. At least now that I have waited this long, I've got the second book in his Promise Falls trilogy ready to read straight after. I really enjoyed Barclay's style of writing. I am a fan of Linwood Barclay and was very pleased to read and review this latest novel - I did not realise it was to form part of a series but once I realised this it made sense that not all of the plots were solved at the end.

It has plots and sub-plots which are a little bit too much for one book and it got a bit convoluted. In the end he came through, so I am looking forward to the next book in the trilogy. I've read other Barclay books, so I know he's a talented writer. Just don't let this one be the first of his
