I have heard of this author as a best seller in a genre I love. When I saw this new Atlee Pine series with a female protagonist, I decided to start here. It was a great decision! I loved this book; it was so easy to enjoy and hard to stop listening.

I was looking forward to this new series as the author is an auto read for me. I really liked Atlee, she is a bit of a maverick with a heartbreaking history. Atlee basic investigation had her stumbling upon a much bigger conspiracy that had Atlee going rogue, crossing the country 2 times, with an unwitting sidekick in her secretary.
