What Members Thought

So, I’m generous with the stars here because there were many, many, many parts of this book that were very good. Like 800 mind-blowing, “Stephen King is a genius” pages. THAT STILL LEAVES 400 PAGES. Those were alternatively super repetitive, offensive, disgusting or kind of boring. I’m still happy I finished it - but definitely looking forward to something new.

Rereading this book has surprised me as I’m less enthralled by the book the second time around.
It’s a very long-winded read , that hadn’t completely held my interest this time round .
I think as the children got older and returned that I felt less intrigued by their experience as they confronted It.
To me the book wasn’t scary as I found it previously to be years ago. I guess my view of the book has drastically changed.
