I don't know why I originally gave this book five stars. The more I think about it, the madder I get. Oh, it was entertaining, but I get really tired of "white people swooping In to save minorities while learning valuable lessons about themselves" stories.

This book is INCREDIBLE. It's so well written, very moving, swings me to different moods, laughing, smiling, crying and even angry. I woke up at 1.30 last night and decided to read the book. Couldn't stop reading it until it finished.
I find racism topic interesting and hope Stockett will keep on writing in this topic since she experienced it herself in her childhood. ...more
