While I thought the beginning of this book was rather tame, the end this book left me feeling icky, just icky. This book was beyond creepy. Just when I thought I could handle some of the story content, Flynn kept making me dive deeper into the bizarre life of Camille and her Missouri past, making me squirm all the while. Again, another Gillian Flynn book I preferred over Gone Girl. This one kept my attention from the start and made me want to complete it in a day. I just wish I had more free time to do that! Such a sad revelation by the end. Sick and oppressive.
