It's always interesting to get a glimpse into a way of life you could never imagine, but even more fascinating when it's a way of life that prevents most people from being able to ever describe it.
Getting to see how the mind of someone with autism works was interesting, particularly having taught children with autism and having spent time wondering what their inner dialogue might be.

I came across this title at a reading conference I attended and I am so glad that I wrote it down. The Reason I Jump is told by a 13 year old with autism who takes you into his daily journey with autism and offers advice on how to be patient and kind with children who have autism. The writing is not amazing, but considering it is written by a 13 year old, I can get past that.
