It's definitely a book that you don't want to put down. It's fast paced and you get to hear each of the main characters' perspectives. The issues that Picoult raises from creating "designer babies" to choice over one's body to allowing someone the right to die are extremely relevant topics, but she doesn’t take once stance on any of these issues, but through her characters get you to ponder things for yourself. I was constantly thinking, “What would I do if I were Anna or Kate or Brian?”

Many people have commented on the ending of this book. I have to be another one.
WARNING: I accidently read a spoiler before I finished this book. It really irritated me! There might be spoilers, or pseudo-spoilers in this review!!!
This book started very well. I think that Anna, the seeming main character, is smarter than your average 13 y/o, as well as more mature. The situation that is set up is very complicated and there are many people to blame for the problems here. After crafting a complic ...more

Oh, if only she'd left well enough alone. Jodi Picoult, in my opinion, wrecked this book with the last chapter. And to avoid spoiling it with why I think it ruins the book, I'll add only that I still want to throw things when I think about the ending.
