It was entertaining, but not the kind of book I was expecting. The short stories were just right length because any longer and I would have lost interest.
Holmes irritated the crap out of me with his arrogance and condescension. If I was Watson, I would have bitch slapped him long ago and work with Encyclopedia Brown, instead.

I love picking this book up and reading one story, replacing it on the shelf, then coming back for more a month or two later. These stories never disappoint.
