What Members Thought
Think Big Lebowski as a PI, and you have the tone of this crazy story. It was funny and sweet and a little sad in some ways, but overall a very entertaining and well written story. Vice is definitely a key part of the story, so it's probably not for everyone. But if you can handle the down and dirty side of life, and can appreciate a good anti-hero, this might be the story for you.

Reading this book actually puts one in a stoner haze (or maybe it's the profusion of characters and twisty plot line). Pity that the plethora of female characters are so flatly drawn. Either way am psyched to see the movie.

Nearly perfect in pretty much every single way -- gorgeous, sympathetic writing, warm, cleverly-wrought characters, and a convoluted story that comes together in a way just gorgeous enough to make the book's conclusion worthy of its journey.
