4.5 stars. Veronica is hired by the ritzy Grand Neptune hotel to investigate the story of a girl who was brutally raped and claims that a hotel staff member did it and left her for dead. The novel started out very slow, much like the last one did, but you guys, it ended up being so brilliant. This is just like watching an episode or new movie. The mystery is complex, there's important background stuff going on (Weevil's case is continued from the first novel, Lamb finally has an opponent in the

Mmmm, like, this cements a lot of the feelings I had about The Thousand-Dollar Tan Line, namely that VM works so much better as a show than as a book. A lot of stuff here just reads as cheesy that I could just picture Kristen Bell and Enrico Colatoni being able to pull off. The sad thing about finishing a Veronica Mars book in a day is being done with it and needing more Mars. Mr. Kiss and Tell takes place right after The Thousand-Dollar Tan Line which picks up where the movie ended. This book focuses on Veronica's crafty search for the person who assaulted and left a young woman for dead after an evening at the Neptune Grand. The book is filled with those "oh no! that person we've heard about but had forgotten!" moments like the movie, such that I wondered if Kick
