After reading “Song of Achilles” and seeing “An Iliad” it felt like it was about time I got back to the original source material and read “The Iliad” for the first time. This particular translation had been positively reviewed on the book jacket for “Song of Achilles” and I thought a more modern translation might make it more accessible.
