What Members Thought
I loved Wicked. Or at least I thought I loved Wicked... I did read it about 10 years ago. Now I think I loved the concept of Wicked--the rethinking and retelling of an old story, challenging the reader to imagine that a well known character had a story of her own that was nothing like we thought it was. I still love that concept--people cannot easily be placed in one box and labeled as good or bad. :) But I did not love this book.
Oy! I didn't think I was *ever* going to finish this book. It's not the book's fault. Well, not entirely, it did seem sort of long. 2.5 stars. Glad to be done with the series. Glad I finished it, but glad to be done.

I took a long slow time reading this book. And once I got to the very last page I slowed down even further. I just plain didn't want this series to end. Absolutely worth the time to re-read them again, putting all four of them back on my list.
