I was really surprised by how much I liked this book, even though I had been warned. Mercy is a very strong female character who can stand on her own and I really liked that. However, I don't really know how I feel about the love triangle, but I guess I'll have to read the next books.

Clever character and interesting world.
That being said this book REALLY needed a better copy-editor. As I work in publishing, I try very hard to cut slack since I know how easy it is to miss something. That being said, names were mixed up so I thought once character was there in a crucial scene and realized that they got the name wrong. That this happened onece was bad, that it happened three times were just wrong.

A fun fast read. Engaging characters, but unfortunately, once you've read one I'm-a-tough-chick-investigating-a-murder-with-werewolves-but-I'm not-really-a-werewolf-but-kinda-sorta-am, you've read them all. I will turn to this series again when I'm looking for a quick fun book.
