I read so many wonderful things about this book I was thrilled when my book club decided to read it for October, but also apprehensive. Could this book live up to the hype?

Honestly, I might (or maybe not) have liked this book better if I hadn't been watching and mocking Doomsday Preppers with my boyfriend. The people on the show are convinced society will collapse over a little thing like a flu. So, even though I'm really good at suspending disbelief, I couldn't do it here.
