Maybe 4.5? But really good.
Victoria Schwab does a lovely job of creating a beautiful, haunting and mysterious world where people are allowed to contemplate questions without answers and explore the darker sides of themselves and their relations to others, and the desperation that comes as a side effect.
I really liked the premise and the mystery behind this book. All of the characters were vividly portrayed and what might have been a very stale plot was made interesting and fresh!
