Listened to this on audiobook. It was read by the author himself. A beautiful story of a son's time at his dying mother's bedside. Full of humor, wisdom, and love. Read or listen to it and you will be blessed by the wisdom shared.

I enjoyed reading this sad but sweet account of the bond between a son and his mother. You could learn a lot about how to raise a child from reading this book. It's wonderful when two people are able to love and appreciate each other so openly. I will strive to remember Simon's mother's life lessons (quite similar to my own mother's lessons), distilled at the end of the book to this list: "Write thank-you notes. Tip well. Sing. i started this book five years ago (it’s a library discard) and really enjoyed the first 50 pages or so, but never got back to it. Until now, when I wanted a fast read I owned a physical copy off for a short road trip.
