LOVE. LOVE. LOVE.

"It is curious how sometimes the memory of death lives on for so much longer than the life that it purloined."

"Perhaps it's true that things can change in a day. That a few dozen hours can affect the outcome of whole lifetimes. Wow! Wow! Wow! What an amazing book! Roy creates her own world, her own language and it is stunning. A world of
greenheat
red mangoes
skyblue cars
white boats
yellow pants.

A world where it is always ten minutes past two.

A world full of a few of my favorite things, The Sound of Music, London floaty pens, a toy koala.

Love-in-Tokyo.

Bar Nowl.

A world where anything can happen. A world where everything can change in a day. A world where the line between overwhelming love and overwhelming pain is thin.

I can barely remember a thing about this book, other than it was very hard to get through, and that this year I visited the area in India where it takes place
