Re-reading October 2017. Still entertaining as all get out. The female characters are much better in the film version.

Classic!
A fast-paced thriller that I didn't want to put down. Scientists perfect genetic engineering with dinosaur DNA on a remote Costa Rican island. Crichton includes lots of tidbits on chaos theory, paleontology, and fractal math. This is an all-around fun novel with a pretty good movie-tie in too.

This was a pretty fun read. Plus it had dinosaurs!! Also I forgot everything that happened in the movie so it was surprising all over again.
